Numatic took their time joining the cordless revolution. They first released Henry cordless in 2017, which is just like the regular Henry vacuum, and provides almost as much power as it.
They then released the HenryQuick in 2022 to directly compete with Dyson. The HenryQuick Pet followed a year later. This resulted in three different cordless Henrys on the market, and leaving shoppers confused, and asking the same question: “Which cordless Henry hoover should I buy?”
After testing all three models side-by-side in our family home, we found that the Henry Quick is the best cordless Henry for most people in 2026. It’s the prime example of an upright stick vacuum, that feels sturdy and durable, and performs well with all rounded daily tasks. The battery life is 60 minutes, it’s the lightest weight (3.2 kg), and is half the price compared to its Dyson competitors.
But this verdict is not for everyone, and it depends on your circumstances, especially if you’re a pet owner.
In this guide, we rank all three cordless Henry hoovers based on 8+ years of hands-on testing, plus 3 Henry hoovers we have not personally tested, but did extensive research on. So let’s get into it!

Henry Quick vs. Henry Cordless – Which Should You Buy
Henry Cordless
These two machines are the same brand but have completely different shapes.
Style – the HenryQuick is a cordless stick vacuum, which stands upright, slim and designed to compete with Dyson V-series. The Henry Cordless is a cordless version of the regular Henry vacuum. The same round shape and face in the center. If you’ve ever used regular Henry hoover, you’ll already know how the cordless feels.
Battery Life – The HenryQuick runs for 60 minutes on a standard setting, which is perfect if you own a home with two floors. You’ll be able to hoover the whole place in one charge. The Henry Cordless is just 20 minutes per battery, which is a noticeable difference in time.
Weight – The HenryQuick is much lighter, 3.2 kg, where the cordless weighs 6.78 kg, which is noticeably heavier. So if you’re vacuum your stairs, the Quick will be much easier to maneuver around.
Capacity- The cordless is hands down the best in this section. It has a 6-litre bag versus the Quick‘s 1-litre pod.
Pet Hair Performance – The Quick wins, hands down. Its motorised floor head has a rotating brush roll that lifts embedded hair from carpet. This is something the cordless can’t do because it has no brush bar.
Price – They’re both similar priced at £300. For the Henry Cordless, it depends where you get one battery or two. In practice, MyHenry runs regular discounts across the cordless range, so the two machines are regularly available at the £200 range.
Cordless Henry vs Dyson V-Series – How They Compare
Henry CordlessDyson V15 model
If you’re looking for a cordless vacuum in 2026, you’re probably deciding between Henry and Dyson. Here’s what to look for when choosing the right brand:
Price – This is where Henry wins outright. The HenryQuick is about £300, and often discounted to £200, while Dyson V15 Detect is around £600. This is a big different when it comes to price. Even the older version of Dyson, costs more than HenryQuick.
Battery Life – The HenryQuick and the Dyson V8 are both around 60 minutes of runtime. But the Dyson V15, can go 70-90 minutes depending on the setting you put it in. If runtime is your top priority and you have a larger home to get through, then the Dyson’s latest model wins.
What the brand is best at – Depending on the main reason why you’re buying a vacuum, the brand decision will make all the difference. For example, if your’e looking for an all-rounded machine that does quick daily cleans, dust-free emptying, and longevity, then go for the Henry Cordless. If you’re looking for strong pet performance and suction to clean tick carpets, the Dyson will be the best choice. The Henry Cordless is a reliable vacuum for a family home, with occasional pet cleaning and half the price.
Other Cordless Henrys We Haven’t Yet Tested
A quick note on transparency: we only rank vacuums we’ve personally tested in our home, and the three models below aren’t yet in that category. That said, with our years of experience testing this brand, we’ve done research into each one, include reading in-depth user reviews, looking how they compare on paper, and drawing on our years of hands-on experience with the rest of the Henry hoovers.
Everything below is what we genuinely think, and based on how we’ve seen similar Henry machines perform. We’ll create a stand-alone review when we’ve tested them ourselves.
Henry Quick PRO
The Henry Quick PRO sits at the top end of Numatic’s cordless lineup as the premium version of the standard HenryQuick. It’s mechanically identical to the HenryQuick that we’ve tested and wrote about above.
The PRO is really about the accessory kit rather than a different machine underneath.
Given what we’ve seen from years of testing across the Henry range, our take is this: the PRO makes most sense if you already know you’ll use those extra tools regularly, particularly the mini motorised tool, which is a genuine upgrade for pet owners and anyone who vacuums a lot of upholstery. If you’re mostly doing floors and the occasional quick clean, the standard Quick will do the same job for less money, and you can buy accessories separately later if you need them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is HenryQuick better than Dyson V8?
For most buyers, yes. The HenryQuick has the same runtime (60 minutes) as Dyson V8, and beats it on dust-free emptying thanks to the sealed pod system. They are similar in terms of price, but when you factor in the replaceable battery, this gives it an edge over the Dyson V8.
How long does the HenryQuick battery last?
The HenryQuick runs for up to 60 minutes on its standard setting and around 15 minutes in boost mode. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours. In real-world use, 60 minutes is more than enough to vacuum both floors of a typical 3-bedroom home on a single charge.
Can I replace the HenryQuick battery?
Yes. This is what makes the HenryQuick worth it, and a great value for its price, since most cordless machines have the batteries built in. The HenryQuick battery is removable and user-replaceable, you simply unclip it from the handle and slide a new one in.
Is Henry Cordless the same as HenryQuick?
No. They are two completely difference machines and designs. The Henry Cordless is simply a cordless version of the regular Henry vacuum. It has a 6-litre bag, 6.78 kg and a 20-minute runtime. The Henry Quick is a cordless stick vacuum, 3.2 kg, and a 60-minute runtime.
